Chris Riley (@hoardinginfo) is a bad-coder-turned-technology-advocate who understands the challenges and needs of modern engineers, as well as how technology fits into the business goals of companies in a demanding high-tech world. As a neuro-diverse professional living with dyslexia and ADHD he is a strong advocate for less stigma and more awareness for neuro-diverse professionals.

Chris speaks and engages with end-users regularly in the areas of modern AppDev, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and Developer Relations. He was one of the original founders of the developer marketing agency Fixate IO, and currently works as a Sr Manager in HubSpot’s Developer Relations team.

Who’s this course for?

The Developer Content Marketing Certification is perfect for developer marketers, DevRel specialists, developer advocates, content marketers, technical writers, and product marketers in technology orgs selling to developers.
If you want tools and confidence to build developer-facing content that works, then this course is for you.

How does the course work?

You can work through the module in the order that suits you, your goals, and your schedule the best. The curriculum is entirely self-paced, though you’ll be asked to take part in activities as well. You have exam questions at the end of each module and, if you pass them all, you’ll become Developer Content Marketing certified.

How long will the course take to complete?

The course is 100% OnDemand and fully self-paced, and should take 4+ hours to complete.

What happens if I don’t pass the exams?

If you fail the first time, you can retake the exam. Sadly, if you fail again, you won’t get the certificate. However, you’ll never lose the knowledge and skills you acquired, and you’ll also have access to the course materials for life.
